Hi

There seem to have been a few instances of the timeline cursor not moving in the German and other parts of the forum. It seems it may be due to a Windows (maybe Optional Update) not installing and probably to do with a Graphics driver update.

Make sure all Windows updates have installed and if the problem persists then manually update the Graphics driver from your PC manufacturers website.

Just for completeness and the benefit of others experiencing problems can you confirm what you think made the difference. Was it a failed Windows graphics driver update that you manually installed subsequently, or did you do a restore to a point before some recent updates?

Thanks.

What I did was update the video driver in device manager. That fixed the issue.

Thanks Paul

Not sure what version of windows you are on but there were a heap of windows updates onto my W8.1 pc on the 14th June, not that I had a problem but it is not the first time a windows update has appeared to have caused a problem with graphics drivers. The word out there seems to be that Windows update does not always do a good job with 3rd party driver installs.
