How do I delete words from 'intro/outro effects? When I use the curtain effect. the word 'intro' appears at the opening of the curtains and the word 'end' appears at the closing . I cannot delete these words.

I cannot delete words from the 'intro/outro' effects. 'Intro' appears as the curtain opens and 'end' when the curtains close. I want to put my own text at these points. The more I try to delete the preset words, the more the scramble all over the screen.

Assuming the video is on track 1, the text is the object on track 3. Double click it to edit the text or click once ungroup all the components and delete it if you donot require the text. The other parts of the intro object are on tracks 6, 7 and 8

the Outro object is similar.

Thanks for your help again John. I think I have the idea of it now. I am just beginning to realise how many tracks are used by this editing programme. I initially thought it was an error when my attempts to edit were involving down to track 8. Incidentally I still can't upload despite two attempts but I see others have the same problem: a green screen, (audio only). Bill

To upload to the forum you need to export as mpg file no bigger than 720x576 and then upload this.

To upload to Show and Discuss you need to export as mp4 and select the Flash Player 1220* 720 option as shown in this image and click the Advanced butt and uncheck Export as website option - as shown in image 2

For Youtube, Vimeo etc each site has recommendations for file type and resolution for uploading.

John, thanks for your answer re: uploading. Try as I might I cannot convert 'Snow Fun' from .MVP. I think I've had so many attempts that the whole file is scrambled up.I follow the file conversion advice but it keeps reverting to .MVP as I am about to upload it. I will create another masterpiece from scratch and restart the whole process. If I have problems again, I will ask for more help under 'uploading'. Thanks again, Bill.
